“Oaken Knot” Drinking Horn

Medium sized drinking horn with engraved and painted design of celtic knot intertwined with oaken leaves and acorns.

The design is first engraved into the horn and then painted in very resilient copper color. This process ensures long lasting quality of color which is almost impossible to scrape off. The colors used are waterproof acrylic colors.

The drinking horn is treated with food-grade varnish from the inside and therefore is safe for food contact. Please note the varnish is certified only for alcoholic beverages like beer, mead or wine. Avoid drinking spirits from the horn; the strong alcohol can damage both the horn and the varnish. You can find more info in Usage nad Storage Rules.
